Japanese “yum yum” sauce

T he recipe for Japanese Yum Yum sauce, surprisingly, was my most searched and found post on my old blog. A recipe so famous, that even though the page doesn’t exist anymore, people are still landing on it to try to find it. I know because my visit meter tells me that people are still landing on it from google. lol. So, I thought I’d post it again. I hope you give this a try because I *know* you’ll enjoy it. ;) (and it’s not even my recipe!)

Serves 4, 1 cup

1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons white sugar
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3/4 teaspoon paprika
3/8 teaspoon garlic powder

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, white sugar, rice vinegar, and melted butter.

Mix well, cover and refrigerate. ENJOY! ?

This is served in american-japanese restaurants (such as Genji’s)

Serve it over rice, or over stir-fry and rice. Or grilled chicken, or over sauteed veggies. :0) Any which way you prefer!
